Inwangsan is a mountain with a height of 338 meters, located in central areas of Seoul near Gyeongbokgung royal palace. The name literally means "mountain of generous king" in Korean. Many people enjoy hiking from the path that begins at the Sajik Tunnel, which leads to the peak of the mountain passing the castle walls, then hike back down to Buam-dong town. From the top, a panoramic view of the surrounding area spreads as far as Naksan Mountain, Namsan Mountain, and Baegaksan Mountain with Gyeongbokgung Palace at its center.

Inwangjesaekdo ("Clearing After Rain in Mt. Inwangsan" or "After Rain at Mt. Inwang") is a landscape painting by the famous Jeong Seon. It was painted during the reign of Joseon Dynasty King Yeongjo in 1751, at his birthplace in Cheongun-dong at Jongno District, modern-day Seoul. It was designated by the South Korean government as the 216th National Treasure of Korea on August 6, 1984.

Particularly, the masterpiece, which is overwhelmingly reproduced in a bold manner, is a unique work that can not be seen in the Oriental paintings.
